Roxanne Perez has thanked Laredo, Texas, after this week’s WWE Raw, with her home city also honoring her in a ceremony.

This April 27 episode of WWE Raw took place at Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas, marking the first time that Roxanne Perez had competed at a televised show in her home city since signing with the company in 2022.

Perez would be honored by her home city in a small ceremony ahead of WWE Raw, with LMT Online reporting a city spokesman saying:

“From her early beginnings to competing under the bright lights of WWE, Roxanne has become a symbol of what it means to dream big.

“She represents Laredo with pride every time she steps into the ring.”

The WWE star would also share her thanks to Laredo in a post on Twitter, stating she is “forever proud”, posting:

“Laredo, Texas, I could never ever thank you enough. You guys were insane and I’ll forever be proud to be from the 956.”

WWE Raw saw Perez team with Raquel Rodriguez in a victory for The Judgment Day over Lyra Valkyria & Bayley, on a show that saw a report of complaints over the heat in the venue.

With Finn Balor no longer a member of Judgment Day, he tried to warn Perez about the faction, although it is seemingly clear where her allegiance lies.

Perez’s Precarious Position In Judgment Day

A member of Judgment Day since June 30 of last year, Roxanne Perez was brought into the faction by Finn Balor, replacing Liv Morgan as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Raquel Rodriguez. Although Balor had introduced Perez as an associate earlier in the year, her official member would broadly coincide with Morgan suffering a legitimate injury and being sidelined from television.

The presence of Perez in Judgment Day was a divisive addition to the group, but more recently, in a post-Balor era of the faction, it seems that her loyalties remain with Morgan, Rodriguez, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.

That said, it’s not clear whether Morgan, a character who revels in the chaos around her, truly trusts Perez, particularly with a previous conversation ending abruptly and with a swollen forehead thanks to an attack by Stephanie Vaquer.

With Balor clearly still involved in Judgment Day’s orbit, even after his “The Demon” alter ego defeated Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 42, there’s plenty of opportunity for mind games as the former member attempt to break the faction apart and perhaps that’s something he can do by pursuing Perez.
