WWE Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton has reacted to Paige’s in-ring return at WrestleMania 42.
Paige was revealed to be Nikki Bella’s replacement in the Women’s Tag Team Championship four-way match on April 18, with the former Divas Champion teaming with Brie Bella to win the tag-team gold.
Tiffany Stratton has now commented on this moment, telling the Battleground Podcast that she hopes to face off against Paige in the future.
the new Women’s US Champion recalled:
“Paige came back, what an amazing pop. What an amazing moment. That was so cool to watch, and then she killed it in the ring.
“I’m just so happy for everybody. I hope to get in the ring with Paige too.”

Tiffany Stratton became the WWE Women’s US Champion on the April 24 SmackDown episode, defeating Giulia to end her 111 day reign with the title.
During this same show, Paige & Brie Bella wrestled Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair to a no-contest, with NXT call-ups Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reed attacking all four stars.
Paige’s WrestleMania 42 title win marked her first in-ring appearance for WWE since December 2017, with Paige notably announcing her retirement from wrestling in April 2018, due to a neck injury.
She returned to the ring after joining AEW in 2022, defeating Brit Baker at that November’s Full Gear pay-per-view in her first match back.
With Paige wrestling so soon after her WWE return match, it looks like she will be back on a near-enough full-time basis, which is always valued in a champion.
Following the likes of AJ Lee having their own return runs, it will be fun to see Paige share the ring with a number of stars who rose through the ranks in WWE during her absence, including Women’s US Champion Tiffany Stratton.
Paige has indicated that she doesn’t think she’ll wrestle again after her current WWE run ends, so it will be interesting to see what’s next for the champion, knowing that her time in wrestling will only last for so much longer.
