There are several stars on the WWE roster who have been teasing a major change to their characters coming soon.

Whether it be tension with a tag team partner or singles stars with mounting frustrations, quite a few babyfaces could be on their way to a heel turn sometime in the future.

Here are seven WWE stars to potentially turn heel soon.

7. Jacob Fatu

Following WWE WrestleMania 42, Jacob Fatu stepped up to the plate to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.

After a week of thinking over his decision, Fatu reaffirmed his stance that he wanted everything that “The Tribal Chief” has when he faces his cousin at WWE Backlash 2026.

On the April 27 episode of Monday Night Raw, Fatu attacked Reigns and put the Tongan Death Grip on “The OTC” to leave him laying.

“The Samoan Werewolf” was booed by the fans, which could set up his heel turn with his quest to take down Reigns getting under the fans’ skin.

6. Alexa Bliss

Over the past year, Alexa Bliss has formed a partnership with Charlotte Flair that has led to strong friendship and a reign as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Bliss has been among the most popular female stars on the WWE roster since making her return to the company at Royal Rumble 2026.

After coming up short in their pursuit of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, Bliss could split from Flair in the near future.

Bliss turning on Flair would be an interesting turn for their story with “The Queen” being positioned as the babyface after being betrayed by her best friend.

5. Matt Cardona

Since returning to WWE in January, Matt Cardona has been a babyface not prominently featured week-to-week.

While Cardona gained his redemption after being released from WWE on the indies as a heel, the former Zack Ryder has been a babyface in the company in the latter half of his first run and since his return.

Cardona turning heel would be very intriguing and could come at the expense of his friendship with Cody Rhodes.

Wanting to elevate to a main event position on Friday Night SmackDown, Cardona could betray his friend and turn to the dark side moving forward.

4. Lyra Valkyria

Another partnership that could be heading to a split sometime down the line is Lyra Valkyria.

The inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion formed a partnership with Bayley that has seen them become a top contender for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

At WrestleMania 42 Night One, Paige and Brie Bella defeated Bayley and Lyra, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and The Irresistible Forces to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

After coming up short in their attempt at the gold at Mania, Lyra could finally snap and turn on Bayley to become a heel for the first time in WWE.

3. LA Knight

Over the past few years, LA Knight has been one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster.

Knight has made it clear that his sights are firmly on getting an opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship.

With Roman Reigns now holding the gold, this could call for a rematch from WWE Crown Jewel 2023 with the dynamics switched a bit.

Knight turning heel to go after Reigns and The Usos might prove to be the best way to turn up the aggression and finally win the title that has eluded him all these years.

2. The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso)

Speaking of The Bloodline, The Usos recently reunited with their cousin Roman Reigns to reunite the original members of the legendary faction.

Jimmy and Jey Uso have put all their differences from the past behind them in the attempt to unite their family.

While they seem on the same side of “The OTC,” it may lead to a betrayal that fans will never forget for The Usos.

Whether it be at WWE Backlash 2026 or sometime down the line, The Usos could turn on their cousin for everything he has done to them over the years.

1. Cody Rhodes

On the road to WrestleMania 42, Cody Rhodes started to get louder and louder boos from the fans.

While he always gets a positive reaction when he makes his entrance, Rhodes has been receiving more and more heat as he continues to reign as Undisputed WWE Champion.

“The American Nightmare” finally turning heel for the first time since his WWE return in 2022 is obviously something that many fans want to see after all this time.

With a feud being teased with CM Punk, the time might be now for Rhodes to turn heel and bring the intensity towards his friend who is looking to come after his Undisputed WWE Championship sooner rather than later.
