Following his release from WWE, Dexter Lumis has reunited with Indi Hartwell and revealed a new look in the process.

Lumis was among the 25 known names to have been let go by WWE last Friday, along with the rest of the Wyatt Sicks – you can see the full list by clicking here.

Back in 2021, Lumis ‘married’ Indi Hartwell on NXT TV when they were members of The Way with Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae and Austin Theory, becoming affectionately known together as InDex.

Today, Lumis posted a video of him reunited with Hartwell as she cut off the long locks of hair he’d grown for his role in the Wyatt Sicks over the past few years.

The video faded out and ended with the date 07.24.26, which is the date that Lumis will officially be a free agent following the 90 day notice period of his WWE release.

This often gets called a non-compete clause but that’s something of a misnomer as talent are actually still under contract and paid during that time – it’s really just 90 days notice before your contract is actually terminated.

Hartwell herself departed WWE in late 2024, signing with TNA Wrestling afterwards as well as working on the indies.

Criticism Of WWE Releasing The Wyatt Sicks

There’s always a level of criticism for any WWE releases, but especially the Wyatt Sicks this time around given the nature of the act being a tribute to Bray Wyatt.

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray Dudley even said that if WWE was so set on releasing the rest of the group, Bo Dallas – Wyatt’s brother – should have at least been kept on board to continue to honor Wyatt.

However, that isn’t the case and all five members of the group are gone, and it at least appears from the new Lumis video with Hartwell that they may not be continuing as a faction going forward.
