WWE
Here is every debut that took place on the April 28, 2026 episode of WWE NXT on the CW Network, and who they are.
In recent months, the WWE NXT roster has found itself being heavily depleted by main roster call ups, with Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Je’von Evans, Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, Ethan Page, Ricky Saints, Sol Ruca, Blake Monroe, Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid all leaving the brand and being called up to the main roster.
With so many call ups, there were said to be a lot of debuts coming to the brand, with plenty taking place on tonight’s episode of NXT, but just who are all the new faces we saw tonight?
Here is every debut on tonight’s WWE NXT show.
EVIL

The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL was reported to have signed with WWE last week
Perhaps the biggest name of all the debuts on tonight’s show is that of former New Japan Pro Wrestling star EVIL.
EVIL had done just about all there is to do in NJPW throughout his career, including being a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, IWGP Tag Team Champion, NEVER Openweight Champion and New Japan Cup winner.
EVIL was the leader of the House of Torture faction in the company, an offshoot of the Bullet Club, with he himself also being a former Bullet Club leader, keeping company with names such as Finn Balor, AJ Styles and Kenny Omega.
EVIL was a polarising figure in the latter stages of his NJPW career, with fans growing tired of the House of Torture’s constant interference in his main event matches, which in many ways would make him the perfect WWE wrestler.
Will Kroos

Will Kroos is a former PROGRESS Atlas Champion as well as competing for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan
Following EVIL’s debut, NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo was attacked by Tavion Heights, before he was also then attacked by another debuting star, who hit a big Moonsault on D’Angelo while being referred to as ‘a fan’ on commentary.
The identity of the ‘fan’ is British pro wrestler Will Kroos, who has now signed with WWE.
Kroos competed in the PROGRESS promotion in the United Kingdom, where he is a former Atlas Champion, as well as competing for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, where he teamed with current GHC Heavyweight Champion and former NXT regular Yoshiki Inamura.
Lizzy Rain

Lizzy Rain is the real-life niece of Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr
On last week’s episode of NXT, a vignette aired hyping the debut of Lizzy Rain, the former Rayne Leverkusen.
It was announced that Lizzy would make her debut on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, where she picked up the win in her debut over Nikkita Lyons.
Lizzy Rain competed on the European independent circuit under the name Rayne Leverkusen prior to signing with WWE, with her even being named the MVP of WWE’s SummerSlam tryouts last year in New Jersey.
Outside of wrestling, Lizzy’s heavy metal gimmick is an homage to her being the real-life niece of Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr.
Tristan Angels

Tristan Angels had competed in both WWE Evolve and AAA before making his WWE NXT debut
Following Myles Borne’s North American Championship victory over Saquon Shugars to kick off the show, he was interrupted by the debuting Tristan Angels, who calls himself ‘Mr. England’.
Angels is the new WWE ring name of British independent wrestler Nathan Angel, who signed with the company late last year in the same European WWE Performance Center class that brought us Elio LeFleur and Dorian Van Dux.
Angels had made appearances on WWE Evolve, as well as being part of the Team UK vs. Team Europe trios match in AAA.
Kam Hendrix

Kam Hendrix is the real-life husband of WWE Raw star Maxxine Dupri
As Tristan Angels had Myles Borne distracted, he would end up being jumped by another debuting star, that being Kam Hendrix.
Kam Hendrix, real name Anthony Luke, makes his WWE NXT debut after a number of years in the WWE Performance Center, having competed on all three seasons of WWE LFG.
Hendrix recently led Team PC against Team WWE ID on Evolve, and is the husband of WWE Raw star Maxxine Dupri.
Tate Wilder

Tate Wilder was signed through WWE’s NIL program back in 2022
Another WWE Performance Center prospect making the move up from WWE Evolve to NXT tonight was Tate Wilder.
Wilder would come to the aid of EK Prosper and Sean Legacy after they were jumped by Birthright following their tag team match victory.
Wilder, real name Case Hatch, signed with WWE through it’s NIL program back in 2022, with him making his debut on the September 2 episode of NXT in a dark match against Jasper Troy.
Wilder had been a regular on WWE Evolve, including defeating Brooks Jensen in a Bullrope match.
Long-Time WWE NXT Stars To Get More Opportunity Following Recent Call Ups
With the recent number of major NXT call ups to Raw and SmackDown over the past few months, a lot of fans have speculated about who could end up filling the spots on the show, often citing new free agent signings.
However, there are a number of current WWE NXT stars that have been long standing members of the NXT roster that we could also see finally get opportunity to shine with the absences on the roster.
On the men’s side, both Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights are names that should be featured more on weekly NXT programming, with Dempsey now a member of the new Birthright faction.
Heights and Dempsey’s former No Quarter Catch Crew stablemates Myles Borne and Wren Sinclair currently hold the North American Championship and Women’s Speed Championship respectively.
On the women’s side, names such as Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons made their debut for the NXT brand a number of years back, but are currently working on the Evolve brand, both of who could add some more firepower to the women’s division on the main NXT brand following the loss of Sol Ruca, Blake Monroe, Jordynne Grace and Fatal Influence.
