WWE’s Judgment Day has had plenty of iterations since the group first formed back in 2022.

From the days with Edge as the leader to the current formation headed up by Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan, The Judgment Day has become one of the prominent factions in all of WWE today.

Looking at the current members or potential additions, there could be any number of names who might become the next leader of this stable in the months or even years to come.

Here are six next potential WWE Judgment Day leaders.

6. Roxanne Perez

In 2025, Roxanne Perez got called up to the WWE main roster after almost three years with the promotion.

Not too long after her arrival on Monday Night Raw, Perez was recruited to The Judgment Day by Finn Balor. Since then, “The Prodigy” has been one of the most featured talents on the red brand and a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

However, The Judgment Day turned their backs on Balor and excommunicated him from the faction, while Perez was absent from the company.

As the youngest member of the group, Perez could bide her time and become the leader of The Judgment Day, taking over for Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan in the near future.

5. Kiana James

On the June 5 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Raquel Rodriguez defeated Kiana James, Bayley and Jacy Jayne to advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Following this loss, James turned on Giulia, blaming for her loss in the tournament and ending their working relationship.

Now that she is no longer associated with Giulia, James may need to find a new home and allies.

Kiana embracing The Judgment Day would be interesting and give the stable a ton of power in numbers when it comes to the WWE women’s division, but it could see her usurp Liv Morgan in hierarchy before becoming the new leader.

4. Ilja Dragunov

Since losing the WWE United States Championship at the end of 2025, Ilja Dragunov has struggled to find consistent TV time.

Once recognized as one of WWE’s best in-ring workers, Dragunov has not been regularly featured on Friday Night SmackDown since WrestleMania 42.

“The Mad Dragon” feels like someone who can bring a level of intensity to The Judgment Day that the group has never possessed.

Dragunov joining and taking over The Judgment Day as the leader could lead to his career reaching new heights that he has not been able to reach in his time in WWE so far.

3. Chad Gable

Chad Gable has found himself on an apology tour after being revealed as The Original El Grande Americano after losing to El Grande Americano in a Mask vs. Mask Match.

After apologizing to Rey Fenix, Penta, Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio confronted Gable and asked him where his apologies were.

“Dirty Dom” is known as “The King of the Luchadors” after embracing his lucha libre heritage and becoming the AAA Mega Champion.

Gable being forced to join The Judgment Day and eventually becoming their leader will show that these amends were for his selfish needs, displaying that Maxxine Dupri was right about the former Olympian all along.

2. JD McDonagh

In 2023, JD McDonagh made his WWE main roster debut and joined the Monday Night Raw brand.

After getting help from Finn Balor, McDonagh joined The Judgment Day and has become one of the most loyal members of the group.

Now that the likes of Balor, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley have been excommunicated from the faction, McDonagh is the second longest running stablemate in the Judgment Day behind Dominik Mysterio.

If “Dirty Dom” leaves the group, McDonagh will have no one standing in his way from taking control of The Judgment Day to become the new leader.

1. Stephanie Vaquer

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night One, Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer to retain the WWE Women’s World Championship.

Then on the April 27 edition of Monday Night Raw, Morgan and The Judgment Day jumped Vaquer, injuring her shoulder in the process.

“La Primera” has been sidelined ever since, but this could lead to a longer term story where Vaquer is responsible for the end of the faction.

Vaquer joining and destroying The Judgment Day from within would be intriguing to watch unfold as she gets her revenge for her recent injury.
