Former TNA Wrestling star Joe Doering has passed away at the age of 44, after a short period in hospice care.

A seasoned international star, Joe Doering competed in TNA Wrestling as recently as 2022, parting ways with the company in order to undergo his second brain surgery.

With November of last year seeing Doering diagnosed with a third brain tumor, he would enter hospice care in June, with his sister-in-law launching a GoFundMe page.

Doering would pass away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 44, with Maple Leaf Pro-Wrestling being among the promotions to share their condolences, posting on Twitter:

“At 9:13 a.m. today, June 26, our brother Joe Doering passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Doering was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in February 2016 and would undergo surgery to remove it in March of that year.

Debuting in December 2004, Doering’s in-ring career would come to an end in 2022, with his final match being a victory over 1 Called Manders at REVOLVER Sunday FunBey in August of that year.

During his career, Doering became a two-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion in All-Japan Pro Wrestling, and also held the World Tag Team Championship on four occasions.

His TNA Wrestling career would see Doering become a two-time Impact World Tag Team Champion, while a run in WWE would see the star compete in the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory as Drake Brewer.
