Omos hasn’t wrestled on the WWE main roster for some time, with the Nigerian Giant making a name for himself in AAA recently.

The former Raw Tag Team Champion’s most recent Raw match took place in May 2023, and his latest match on the main roster came on the April 5, 2024 SmackDown episode, with Omos competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Following eight months away from the ring, Omos returned to wrestling for a crossover run with Pro Wrestling NOAH which saw him win the GHC Tag Team Title alongside Jack Morris in January 2025.

Leaving Japan following his January 25, 2025 NOAH Sunny Voyage appearance, Omos won the Copa Bardahl at Triplemanía 33, and returned to AAA this past February.

While Omos currently wrestles for AAA, him being listed as a “free agent” on WWE’s official roster page, and recent comments made by the Nigerian Giant and Dominik Mysterio, have fuelled rumors about a potential Raw or SmackDown return.

Here are three potential directions for Omos’ WWE main roster return.

Bringing Dominik Mysterio alliance to Raw

Dominik Mysterio aligned himself with Omos and Dorian Roldan at Verano de Escandalo in July, with Dirty Dom joining the “El Ojo” stable.

While the duo have wrestled together on AAA TV and at Worlds Collide, this partnership hasn’t yet been brought to Raw, with Mysterio instead representing the Judgment Day on Monday nights.

In late-September, Omos noted that his services are available at the right price, and that he’s ready to join the Judgment Day if Dominik calls.

With Dominik previously expressing interest in having “the Judgment Day crew give him a shot“, an alliance between Omos and Dirty Dom’s Raw faction feels like it could be on the horizon.

Dominant Royal Rumble appearance

Every Royal Rumble match features several surprise appearances, with stars who don’t regularly compete on the main roster.

Four months out from the 2027 event, we could see Omos in that role at next February’s premium live event, where the seven-foot athlete could take out a number of prospects.

Omos missed the last two Royal Rumble matches, with his most recent Rumble appearance being at the 2024 event, and seeing him score one elimination, over Bronson Reed.

Also having appeared in the 2022 and 2023 matches, a return in the annual match could be on the cards, especially if he’s still an ally of Dominik Mysterio’s.

Oba Femi match

Following a monster confrontation at Worlds Collide, we could be set to witness a clash between two WWE powerhouses.

After the six-man tag-team main event, Omos and Dominik Mysterio attacked CM Punk, El Grande Americano and Rey Mysterio, leading to Oba Femi making his entrance.

Despite Omos towering over Oba Femi, it was The Ruler who stood tall, clotheslining the Nigerian Giant over the top rope.

Other stars stopped Omos from re-entering the ring, with WWE having whet fans’ appetites for a future heavyweight battle.
