With Roman Reigns firmly established at the head of the table in WWE, the OTC has faced off against most top stars in the company.

There are, however, some notable names who Reigns has never stepped into the ring with in one-on-one matches, who it would make sense for him to face in the near future.

From rising stars to those Reigns has only had brief encounters with, here are five competitors Roman Reigns has never faced in one-on-one matches, who he could battle soon.

GUNTHER

The final moments of the 2026 Royal Rumble match saw Roman Reigns eliminate GUNTHER to punch his ticket for WrestleMania 42.

This, and both stars being part of the 15-man elimination three-way tag match at Survivor Series 2019, are the only times Reigns and GUNTHER have shared the ring, with the duo never meeting in a singles match.

It’s rare for WWE to let a first-time singles match of this caliber pass them by, so expect Reigns and GUNTHER to face off one-on-one for the first time ever in the future.

Royce Keys

Royce Keys made his debut for the company in that same 2026 Royal Rumble match, and has since proven himself as a powerhouse in WWE.

With Keys now aligned with Lucien Price and Bronco Nima, the trio targeting The Usos has fuelled speculation about a potential clash between the two groups’ leaders.

As the two heavyweights have never faced off one-on-one, it would be an interesting clash to see the established champion battle the rising star.

Chad Gable

Roman Reigns and Chad Gable both hold singles gold on the Raw brand, with Reigns being the World Heavyweight Champion and Gable reigning with the Intercontinental Title.

Outside of both competitors participating in the 2025 Royal Rumble match, Reigns and Gable have never met in singles or tag-team action, despite both stars’ stints with the company.

Chad Gable and Roman Reigns are arguably both at the peaks of their popularity, so a clash between the two sides would certainly be talked about for some time.

Bron Breakker

Despite having shared the ring in Royal Rumbles, tag action, and even in a WarGames match, Roman Reigns and Bron Breakker have yet to lock horns one-on-one.

This is clearly a bout which WWE is building towards, with Reigns and Breakker drawing a huge reaction any time they’re in the same shot.

While the duo have both felt each other’s wrath, the first time these stars clash in a singles match will be special.

Oba Femi

WWE has taken the opposite approach in building towards Roman Reigns vs Oba Femi, with the two stars not facing off in any capacity since Femi called out the new champion following WrestleMania 42.

With Oba Femi even giving up his guaranteed title shot after winning the King of the Ring tournament, it’s clear that WWE is keeping the two stars separate so that when they do finally come together there will be fireworks.

It is heavily rumored that this match will take place at WrestleMania 43. If it does, it will be a first-time match over a year in the making.
