WWE’s final main roster Premium Live Event of 2023 is almost here, as the 37th annual Survivor Series packs out Chicago’s Allstate Arena on November 25.
This year marks the second-straight Survivor Series that’s offering up the WarGames stipulation, with both the men’s and women’s matches both highly anticipated.
With those two matches likely to both be substantially long, the rest of the card at the time of writing is rather bare bones, with five matches total on the night. However, don’t rule out at least one more being added to this line-up beforehand.
With that being said here’s our preview and predictions for each of the five matches confirmed for Survivor Series, with betting odds obtained via SkyBet and correct as of Thursday, November 23 at 07:57 ET.
5. Santos Escobar VS. Carlito
With Rey Mysterio having to undergo knee surgery, the task of fulfilling the LWO’s revenge on Santos Escobar lies at the feet of Carlito.
Although the heel turn was always an inevitability, I must say I’ve been pleasantly surprised at just how effective it’s already been thus far.
Escobar’s first promo out on his own on SmackDown (November 17) was absolutely fantastic, showing emotional range and confidence that not many may have expected based on his run thus far on the main roster.
As much as I love seeing Carlito back, Escobar is one for the future and should be kept strong until his eventual meeting with Mysterio. Expect an Escobar win courtesy of heelish shenanigans, perhaps even with a little help from some new friends.
Prediction: Santos Escobar
Betting Favorite: Santos Escobar (Santos Escobar 1/9 vs Carlito 9/2)
