Taking place in a little over a week’s time on September 26, the eight annual AEW All Out event heads to the NOW Arena in Chicago, IL.
With the company’s last pay-per-view, All In London, receiving a great amount of praise from fans, Tony Khan may have to pull out some extra stops to garner just as much buzz.
Here are three potential surprises we could see at AEW All Out 2026:
Ilja Dragunov & Kairi Sane make debut
Kairi Sane was released by WWE in April 2026, while Ilja Dragunov departed the company at the end of his contract in August.
Two of WWE’s biggest talent departures in 2026 have this week been in the news regarding a potential move to All Elite Wrestling.
According to Fightful, former multi-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane has held talks with AEW, but there has not been a deal agreed. Fightful also reported that Ilja Dragunov is expected to join AEW barring any “unforeseen circumstances.”
If they get over the line, these two signings should get AEW fans very excited indeed. Kairi is someone who could slot in immediately as a challenger to Mercedes Moné’s AEW Women’s World Title – with the pair having a bit of history as opponents in WWE and in Japan.
Dragunov also has no shortage of potential dream opponents in AEW, and could get the ball rolling with his first feud in the company by confronting or attacking a big name featured on the AEW All Out card.
Kyle Fletcher quits the Don Callis Family
AEW All In London saw Kyle Fletcher come as close as he ever has to turning his back on the Don Callis Family, when his stablemate Kazuchika Okada snatched the AEW International Championship from around his waist.
Since then, Don Callis has been attempting to smooth things over in the family by forcing Fletcher to team up with another family member he’s not been too keen on: Kevin Knight.
It has been so far so good for the team of Fletcher and Knight, so perhaps Callis’ plan will ensure that ‘The Protostar’ remains happy for now. But it feels as if things could very well still come to a head the next time Fletcher gets involved in a match alongside Okada.
While we don’t yet know how the Don Callis Family will be used at All Out, it feels like there’s a decent chance we could see more dissension between Okada and Fletcher – leading to the latter walking away from the family for good.
The Death Riders turn on Jon Moxley
The main event of All Out 2026 will see Will Ospreay defend the AEW World Championship for the first time against one-time mentor Jon Moxley.
After the pair’s relationship turned sour en route to All In London, Ospreay and Moxley are seemingly now back at a point of mutual respect; however, this is not something that has gone over too well with some in the Death Riders camp.
PAC and Gabe Kidd voiced their displeasure at Moxley’s passivity towards Ospreay, and this is something we could see play into what goes down at All Out.
Whether it’s just Kidd and PAC, or the entire group, we could see the Death Riders change forever on September 26.
