When All Elite Wrestling first started, Nyla Rose came in as a monster heel in the women’s division.
It did not take long before Rose won the AEW Women’s World Champion and one of the most featured stars on the roster. However, all these years later, things are much different with Rose in the midst of a lengthy absence from the promotion.
After recently expressing her frustration with this absence, the company could figure out a way to bring Nyla back into the fold in some capacity.
Here are five potential ways for Nyla Rose to make her AEW return.
Bringing her tag team partner Nightshade into AEW
It has nearly two years since fans last watched Nyla Rose appear on AEW TV.
Since her last appearance, Rose has started to compete in Japan, most notably for Marvelous That’s Women’s Pro Wrestling.
This has led to a partnership with Rose and Nightshade, who has long been one of the top names on the British independent scene.
After winning gold in Japan, the duo of Nyla Rose and Nightshade might make for a wonderful addition to the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship picture before long.
Challenging Persephone for the AEW TBS Championship
During this lengthy absence for Nyla Rose from the company, there have been several new stars emerge in All Elite Wrestling.
One such star is current CMLL Women’s World Champion Persephone.
At AEW All In London 2026, Persephone defeated Maya World to win the TBS Championship thanks to outside interference from the returning Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.
Considering her own history with Baker, Rose could make her return and immediately target her new charge in Persephone to attempt to capture the TBS Title for the first time.
Joining The Bang Bang Gang
Nyla Rose is one of the most entertaining and endearing personalities on the AEW roster.
Rose has garnered a ton of fans thanks to her infectious sense of humor and comedic timing.
The same could be said about the members of The Bang Bang Gang, which could make for an unlikely yet effective pairing down the road.
Rose joining Jay White, Juice Robinson, Ace Austin and The Gunns would give the Bang Bang Gang someone who can match their humor and give them an even more similar dynamic to that of D-Generation X.
New rivalry with Willow Nightingale
During her most recent interview with Denise Salcedo, Nyla Rose talked about some of the highlights in the AEW women’s division, mentioning Willow Nightingale‘s journey to the AEW Women’s World Championship.
At AEW All In London 2026, Nightingale lost the gold to her longtime rival Mercedes Monè.
Coming off of that loss, Willow might need to work her way back up the ladder to get a rematch for the title.
Nightingale facing off with an angry and frustrated Nyla Rose might just make for an ideal rival moving forward for the former AEW Women’s World Champion.
Becoming the new muscle for Mercedes Monè
Another AEW name that was brought up in Nyla Rose’s recent interview was Mercedes Monè.
At the AEW All In London 2026 pay-per-view, Monè defeated Willow Nightingale to win the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Now that she hold the top prize in the women’s division, “The CEO” might need some backup to help her stay champion.
Mercedes opening the door for Nyla Rose to make her return could position the former AEW Women’s World Champion as the new muscle for the reigning titleholder moving forward.
