WWE Money In The Bank 2026 is shaping up to be one of the more unpredictable premium live events of the year for the company.
With two titular ladder matches and big title bouts on the card, there is a ton of intrigue heading into this Saturday in New Orleans.
WWE has the chance to offer some shocking moments that could make this show stand out from the rest of their PLEs this year.
Here are four potential surprises at WWE Money In The Bank 2026.
Roxanne Perez wins the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match & cashes in on her Judgment Day stablemate Liv Morgan
On the September 21 episode of Monday Night Raw, Roxanne Perez defeated IYO SKY and La Catalina to qualify for the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
Perez joined the field that includes Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend, Jacy Jayne, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice in the contest at WWE Money In The Bank 2026.
Meanwhile, Stephanie Vaquer will defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against the winner of Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch on the October 5 edition of Monday Night Raw at the PLE.
If Morgan and Perez win, this could lead to Roxanne shocking the world by cashing in the contract on her Judgment Day stablemate to become the new champion on the same show.
Bronson Reed gets upset win on Oba Femi

At WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, Oba Femi defeated Bron Breakker via DQ after outside interference from the returning Bronson Reed.
Since then, Femi and Reed have gone back and forth until a match was set up for WWE Money In The Bank 2026.
In this battle of behemoths, “The Ruler” is of course the favorite going into this bout.
However, Reed can surprise everyone by getting a win in his official in-ring return here.
Je’Von Evans wins the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Going into the Men’s Money In The Bank, it feels like everyone has a shot to win.
While former champions like CM Punk and Kevin Owens have qualified, the field features mostly newer talent to the WWE roster.
Despite Penta, Trick Williams and Bron Breakker all having a case, the most surprising potential winner could be Je’Von Evans.
Being only 22 years old, “The Young OG” has the opportunity to make history as the youngest Money In The Bank winner of all time in New Orleans.
LA Knight beats Roman Reigns to win the World Heavyweight Championship thanks to 946

The main event of WWE Money In The Bank 2026 will see LA Knight challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
In the lead-up to this match, “The Megastar” has repeatedly stated that he doesn’t believe Reigns can beat him without The Bloodline.
Throughout this reign, “The OTC” has beaten every challenger without any assistance from his family.
This is why it would be a nice twist in the story if Knight is the one who gets help from 946 to finally capture the World Heavyweight Championship on October 10.
