WWE
Money in the Bank 2026 is a landscape changing night for WWE Raw and SmackDown, with two superstars’ careers changing potentially forever and the potential for massive change being opened up.
We have often seen stars swap brands by way of their Money in the Bank cash-ins – with last year being the most recent example as Naomi jumped from SmackDown to Raw to claim the Women’s World Championship.
We could certainly see something like that happen again this year, but the Money in the Bank winner may not be the only name to change allegiance from red to blue.
Here are three WWE Raw stars that could join SmackDown after Money in the Bank 2026:
IYO SKY

IYO SKY came up short against Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam
After what was arguably a career-best year in 2025, IYO SKY has suffered several setbacks in 2026 and failed to reach the same level of success.
Most obviously, “The Genius of the Sky” has yet to recapture the Women’s World Championship that she lost to Naomi via the aforementioned Money in the Bank cash-in at WWE Evolution in July 2025. She also failed to even make it onto the WrestleMania 42 card, which is still a curious decision.
That’s not to say her year has been a complete bust though; a Queen of the Ring win and Women’s Tag Team Title run with Rhea Ripley shouldn’t be swept under the rug, however, it’s hard to not see it as a disappointment overall.
A move to SmackDown may help freshen things up for SKY, and, crucially it would put her back on the same brand as Ripley. While “The Eradicator” is still out of action with her knee injury, fans haven’t stopped fantasy booking another match between the two for the WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania 43, and if SKY makes he jump to SmackDown we could see that happen.
Seth Rollins
It has now been two months since Seth Rollins last appeared on WWE programming. “The Visionary” isn’t injured, as he competed during last month’s South American tour, so, the absence appears to be entirely down to a lack of creative plans.
Given that Rollins has already feuded with both Roman Reigns and The Vision this year, it is, admittedly quite tricky to see where his next feud comes from on WWE Raw without treading old water.
A move to SmackDown would resolve this. Sure, there are a lot of familiar faces for Rollins on SmackDown as well, but they’re not quite as fresh in the memory as his options on Raw.
The main event scene is stacked on the blue brand however, so WWE should probably look to trade someone to Raw to avoid the roster getting even more imbalanced than it already is.
Penta
After less than two years in WWE, Penta established himself as a genuine world championship contender when he took Roman Reigns to the limit in Mexico City on the September 14 WWE Raw.
Following this performance Penta is reportedly stepping into his second Money in the Bank ladder match as the “heavy favorite” to take home the briefcase in New Orleans.
While Penta was previously dead set on challenging “The OTC” once again for the World Heavyweight Title, on this past Friday’s SmackDown, he confirmed that Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn was also on his radar.
Reigns is unlikely to lose his title before inevitably facing Oba Femi at WrestleMania 43, but the Undisputed WWE Title picture is far more open – as has been proven this year with five title changes in total. So, if Penta succeeds in becoming Mr. Money in the Bank he should strongly consider jumping to SmackDown full-time and cashing in on whoever is holding the Undisputed WWE Title.
