WWE’s next Hell In A Cell match: Three feuds that could come to an end inside the cage

WWE

At WWE SummerSlam 2026, Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar inside Hell In A Cell.

This marked the first time in two years that WWE used this stipulation to settle a rivalry.

There are a wide variety of different feuds that are all about hatred that could be taken to the next level inside the two-ring steel cage.

Here are three WWE feuds that could potentially come to an end in the next Hell In A Cell Match.

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton

After losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42, Randy Orton made his return at SummerSlam 2026 to cost his rival the Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk.

Since then, Rhodes and Orton have been hellbent on making each other’s lives a living hell.

At WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, Orton defeated Rhodes thanks in large part to Cody not being able to pull the trigger on the Punt Kick during the bout.

Following “The Legend Killer” costing “The American Nightmare” his Money In The Bank qualifier, it feels like Orton and Rhodes need a major stipulation to blow off their feud and Hell In A Cell would be a fitting way to cap off their story.

Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria

On the July 18 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley. After the match, Valkyria assaulted Bayley and took her out of action for weeks.

However, Bayley made her return on the September 7 WWE Raw to cost Lyra her Money In The Bank qualifier.

After Valkyria pulled off a win over Bayley in a rematch on the September 21 Monday Night Raw, reports have circulated that WWE plans to blow off their feud in a rare stipulation.

Bayley and Lyra could settle the score against one another inside Hell In A Cell to truly put a bow on their feud.

Sami Zayn vs. CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Finn Balor vs. GUNTHER

The Undisputed WWE Championship scene has been busy following the events of this past summer.

The title has gone from Cody Rhodes to Sami Zayn to CM Punk back to Zayn again over the past few months.

The picture has also included the returning Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Johnny Gargano and GUNTHER.

This could lead to Zayn defending the Undisputed WWE Championship in the return of the Armageddon Hell In A Cell for the first time in 26 years at some point down the road.
