WWE
There are a number of WWE stars who could be making their debuts on the SmackDown brand in the not too distant future.
With the show moving back to three hours at the start of 2027, there could be some new spots on the roster to fill – and it seems like WWE is already in the process of doing that.
Here are three SmackDown debuts coming up soon.
Kyoki (Hiromu Takahashi)
Shinsuke Nakamura recently announced the arrival of his new tag team partner Kyoki, formerly known as Hiromu Takahashi in NJPW.
The duo will collectively be known as Bakusai, and will be looking to chase the WWE Tag Team Championship currently held by The MFTs, Tama & Talla Tonga.
Before that, they make their tag team debut on SmackDown against The Miz and Kit Wilson.
Blake Monroe
Blake Monroe was introduced to WWE SmackDown via promo videos months ago, but has still yet to actually wrestle on the show.
She was set to debut a couple of weeks ago against Giulia, but the match never happened because Monroe attacked Giulia during her entrance.
WWE may turn Monroe not actually debuting into an ongoing story, but eventually, she will end up having a match on SmackDown.
Tony D’Angelo
This past weekend’s Heatwave premium live event saw Grayson Waller win the NXT Championship, dethroning Tony D’Angelo in a four-way that also featured Zilla Fatu and Cruz Montana.
With D’Angelo no longer holding the NXT Title, it feels like it’s only a matter of time before he makes his way to the WWE main roster after a five year run in NXT.
He could really go either way between Raw and SmackDown, but given the upcoming hour runtime increase for SmackDown, the blue brand could well be his landing spot.
