WWE
After announcing her pregnancy at WWE WrestleMania 42 back in April, Bianca Belair and her husband Montez Ford welcomed their son Romeo into the world in August.
While it is certainly too early to be expecting Belair to be back in the ring, AEW’s Swerve Strickland recently said that ‘The EST’ still has “so much more to give,” and few would argue with that statement.
With Belair dealing with a problematic hand injury even before her pregnancy, she has been away from competition since WrestleMania 41, but fans will be hoping to see her back fit and healthy whenever she feels ready.
Here are three potential scenarios we could see Bianca Belair return to in WWE.
Surprise Royal Rumble Entrant
The 2027 WWE Royal Rumble premium live event will be taking place in Glendale, Arizona next February – with a date yet to be confirmed.
While it’s unclear when Belair would be able to make a comeback given both her pregnancy and aforementioned hand injury, the Rumble is far enough away that it could be a possibility.
Before her pregnancy was revealed to the world, Belair was among the betting favorites to return and win the 2026 Women’s Rumble, but it obviously wasn’t possible.
‘The EST’ actually doing that in 2027 would be a major moment and the roof would no doubt be blown off the State Farm Stadium.
Confronts Jade Cargill

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles together for over 200 days across two seperate reigns.
Long before Jade Cargill arrived in WWE, a match between her and Bianca Belair was always considered a bit of a ‘dream’ pairing.
When Cargill did sign with WWE in late 2023, they opted not to pull the trigger on that feud, and instead paired ‘The EST’ and ‘The Storm’ together in a tag team.
With Cargill no longer a babyface and instead now a brash, dominant heel, it feels inevitable that her and Belair eventually clash.
If Belair is able, the meeting would certainly make for a perfect return match and wouldn’t look out of place on the card for WrestleMania 43.
Costs Rhea Ripley WWE Women’s Championship
Another WrestleMania dream match that WWE have yet to go through with is a one-on-one bout between Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair.
The two stars have history dating back to NXT, and did share the ring at WrestleMania 41 along with IYO SKY in what was arguably WWE’s best match of that year, but they’ve yet to get their big ‘Mania singles clash.
Like Belair, there’s uncertainty surrounding Rhea Ripley’s return to WWE TV after suffering a knee injury three months ago, but we do know that a unification match between her and the Interim WWE Women’s Champion will be coming whenever she returns to the fold.
At the moment that is Chelsea Green, but it may not be by the time Ripley’s back. Either way, Belair could make a big statement and cost Ripley her gold in her first night back; setting up a major feud heading into WrestleMania 43 season.
