TNA Wrestling stars to sign with WWE: Which talent could make the move after their contracts expire?

2026 has been a year of talent turnover for TNA Wrestling, with several former champions departing to join WWE and AEW.

While the company have made plenty of exciting signings of their own such as Ricky Sosa, they still have plenty of potential contracts expiring for top talent at the end of 2026.

With the likes of Cruz Montana, Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace moving to WWE over the past few years, here are three names who could potentially make that same move if they depart.

Xia Brookside

Initially signing a three-year deal with TNA at the beginning of 2024, Xia Brookside is currently in the highest profile position of her wrestling career as the current TNA Knockout’s World Champion.

Brookside’s success has also brought about speculation regarding her future, as she nears the expiry of her contract at the end of this year (according to Fightful).

With her father Robbie Brookside working at the WWE Performance Center, perhaps there will be an allure to return to the company where she spent four years between 2018-2022; only this time with more experience under her belt.

Lexis King is on a recruitment drive with his BirthRight faction in WWE NXT, and Brookside could certainly be a future member; something that could then bring her father Robbie onto TV in a bit part role, much like William Regal and Finlay currently.

Elayna Black

After being released by WWE in May 2025, Elayna Black took some time away from the ring before re-emerging in TNA Wrestling in January.

Black reportedly signed a one year deal with TNA according to Fightful, meaning she will be another member of the Knockouts division who could be hitting free agency at the end of the year.

While the move to TNA has done Black a lot of good, we’ve already seen fellow WWE NXT alum Mara Sadé opt to exit TNA at the end of a one year contract to pursue free agency.

Black was once perceived to be a future star for WWE, and at the age of just 25, she could certainly earn herself another contract there in the future.

Leon Slater

TNA are now less than a month away from their biggest pay-per-view of the year: Bound for Glory – a show that, in all likelihood will be the coronation of a brand new, history-making TNA World Champion: Leon Slater.

Slater has the chance to become the youngest TNA World Champion ever when he faces Nic Nemeth on October 11, and fans will be hoping the company does the right thing and gives ‘The Youngest in Charge’ his big moment in the sun.

TNA giving Slater this accolade should mean his future in the promotion will be secured for the time being, however, at the time of writing we have yet to receive confirmation that the English star is remaining in TNA beyond this year.

With his contract reportedly up at the end of 2026 according to Fightful, and WWE previously showcasing him on several big events – including John Cena’s last match in Washington D.C. last December – it feels highly likely that they will win his signature when the time comes for his TNA exit. However, with Slater seemingly set to Rach the top of TNA, it would be a surprise to see him depart at the end of the year.
