WWE stars to form new tag team: Which solo acts could band together and enter the tag division?

The formation of a tag team can provide two WWE stars a new lease on life, unlock new character development opportunities and/or help a common goal be achieved.

There truly is strength in numbers, and in WWE right now there are a number of talents who could certainly benefit from doing forces together.

Here are three new WWE tag teams that could potentially be formed:

Seth Rollins & Oba Femi

Very much one to place in the category of ‘working towards a common goal’, and Oba Femi is looking like he’s going to require some assistance in his fight against The Vision, based on how his last two encounters with the group have gone.

When it comes to The Vision, there is obviously one man that knows them better than any else: Seth Rollins. Rollins originally led the group in 2025, before suffering a shoulder injury and being brutally ousted by Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman.

With Rollins lacking creative direction, pairing him with Femi in an attempt to take down The Vision would be a good use of the six-time world champion.

If WWE wanted to really go all in, they could even have Femi and Rollins win the World Tag Team Titles together, given that Breakker and Austin Theory still hold the gold – yet haven’t defended them a single time.

Ivy Nile & Jordynne Grace

When certain talent are struggling to find their feet on their own, often a tag team is the best course of action to turn things around.

With Ivy Nile and Jordynne Grace being two names who certainly fall into that category in 2026, an alliance would likely be mutually beneficial.

And according to a recent report from False Finish, that may every well be WWE’s train of thought also, as there is said to have been internal pitches for the formation of a Grace and Nile tag team.

Nile and Grace are about as physically impressive as it gets, but have struggled to establish a connection with the audience. Teaming together should increase their chances of success and hopefully allow them both to flourish as singles stars in the future.

Ricky Saints & Danhausen

Sometimes there’s no better remedy for tag team success than a good odd couple pairing. Booker T & Goldust, The Rock & Mankind, Kane & Daniel Bryan; there are countless examples of where this has worked immensely.

With the recent split of R-Truth and Damian Priest, perhaps a new comedic alliance could be struck up on Friday Night SmackDown?

There is probably nobody better suited to this role right now than Danhausen, and there a number of names from the top of the card to the bottom which could work amazingly. However, when looking at talent who need a role like this the most, it’s hard to look anywhere else but Ricky Saints.

Saints has struggled to get the main roster crowd invested in him since his move from NXT to SmackDown, and could do with a role that can allow him to show more of his range on the mic and penchant for comedy. Having already some memorable TV together in AEW, it’d be great to see WWE pair Saints and Danhausen together full-time, even if it eventually leads to a Saints turn.
