24. Kota Ibushi vs. Tetsuya Naito – G1 Climax Day 14
One of the turning points in the tournament, this match was. Ibushi and Tetsuya Naito put on a dazzling display of dangerous moves that kept their audience on the edge of their seats.
As the tournament approached its peak, Naito and Ibushi were in the hunt. The two battled over their desire to advance to the finals and Ibushi would get the W as he Deadlift German-Suplexed Naito on the back of his head, piledrived (piledriven? piledrove?) Naito on the top of his head, hit a Bomaye and finally his Kamagoye for the finish. A brutal match but classic nonetheless.
