There has been some speculation about the winner of the women’s 2027 Royal Rumble match, with more information emerging about next year’s event.
Royal Rumble will once again emanate from Glendale, Arizona, with TKO previously announcing that the 2027 premium live event will take place at the State Farm Arena in February.
More recently, Fightful Select reported that the event is believed to be taking place on the weekend of February 6, the first weekend of February next year.
With Nick Khan also indicating that the company has already been “across creative” for WrestleMania 43, there has been a lot of discourse about potential plans for the Show of Shows.
With a championship shot at WrestleMania 43 up for grabs, here are three women who could win the Royal Rumble match in February.
Roxanne Perez
With previous teases of dissension between Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan in the Judgment Day, it has been heavily speculated that these two stars will meet in a championship match at WrestleMania 43.
Both stars have potential routes to the Women’s World Championship ahead of them, with Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch to challenge for Stephanie Vaquer’s gold at Money in the Bank, and Roxanne Perez set to compete in the titular ladder match.
If Liv Morgan does walk out of New Orleans with the title, we could see Roxanne Perez chase her teammate, regardless of the Money in the Bank ladder match result.
Roxanne Perez has had some impressive Royal Rumble showings over the years, breaking the record for the longest time spent in a single women’s Rumble in 2025 and finishing in the runner-up position. 2027 could be the year where Perez gets her arm raised.
Naomi
Naomi has been off WWE TV for over a year, with the star announcing her pregnancy and relinquishing the Women’s World Championship on the August 18, 2025 Raw episode.
Following reports that WWE is preparing for the return of Naomi, there has been a lot of talk about potential directions for the former champion’s comeback.
While many are expecting Naomi to join forces with the Bloodline faction, we could also see the former Women’s World Champion attempt to win back the title she was never defeated for.
One way for her to earn a title shot would be to win the Royal Rumble, which would give her the opportunity to reclaim the gold on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
IYO SKY
With Rhea Ripley being the WWE Women’s Champion at the time when she was forced to step away from the ring due to a knee injury, many fans are anticipating that she will go after SmackDown’s top champion upon her return.
While Chelsea Green is currently recognised as the WWE Women’s Champion, it has been speculated that IYO SKY will win the gold ahead of Ripley’s return, resulting in the two friends facing off for the title.
With there still being some uncertainty surrounding Rhea Ripley’s timeline for a return, IYO SKY seems to be the most likely of the two to win February’s 30-woman Rumble.
