WWE
On the October 6 episode of WWE NXT, there will be a NXT Women’s Championship number one contender’s battle royal.
The bout will feature stars from NXT, Raw, SmackDown, Evolve, AAA and TNA Wrestling.
With the winner challenging Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc, there are several names from the WWE roster who can get the win here.
Here are five WWE stars to win the NXT Women’s Championship #1 contender’s battle royal.
Reina Volcan
Reina Volcan has been a force to be reckoned with ever since arriving on WWE NXT.
After taking several weeks away, Volcan recently returned and got right back to her destructive path.
On the September 29 episode of WWE NXT, Volcan attacked NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan from behind, laying her out in the process.
Volcan could have set up what would be a formidable challenge for Jordan’s next defense if she wins this battle royal.
Kali Armstrong
Kali Armstrong has been one of the fastest rising stars on the WWE NXT women’s division.
After making her WWE debut on Evolve, it did not take Armstrong long before she had gold, becoming the first ever Evolve Women’s Champion.
“The Difference Maker” is looking to match that success now that she is on NXT.
With 19 other women standing in her way, Kali Armstrong has to be considered a favorite to win this battle royal and move on to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Lizzy Rain
Another WWE NXT star who has wasted no time establishing themselves is Lizzy Rain.
While she hasn’t scored a ton of wins, Rain has made a strong impression on her fellow stars and the fans.
With her Rock N’ Roll influence and eccentric personality, Rain feels like someone who can be a fixture for the women’s scene on Tuesday nights.
In what would be her biggest win yet, Rain could propel herself into the NXT Women’s Championship picture with a win on the October 6 WWE NXT.
La Catalina
Following WWE AAA TripleMania 34, La Catalina showed up on NXT and confronted Kelani Jordan.
After winning the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship and ending Flammer’s record-breaking reign, Catalina displayed her desire to win even more gold.
This led to Catalina and Thea Hail scoring a tag team win over Jordan and ZARIA on the September 22 WWE NXT.
Following this victory, Catalina could be one win away from challenging Kelani for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc 2026.
Kendal Grey
At WWE NXT Heatwave 2026, Kelani Jordan defeated Kendal Grey to win the NXT Women’s Championship.
During the course of this contest. Grey re-aggraviated her ear injury and has been sidelined ever since then.
After undergoing some therapy, Grey may find herself in a better head space to get back to the NXT Women’s Championship.
Challenging the new champion, Kendal Grey may make her return to win the battle royal and go onto regain the gold at NXT Halloween Havoc 2026.
