The WWE WrestleMania 40 card is shaping up very nicely, however, there are still some big superstars glaringly absent.
Luckily we are still a few weeks out from the show of shows and WWE is not standing still.
Up and down the card talent is trying to get their spot at WrestleMania Night 1 or 2.
It is safe to say that the battle royal is going to take place at WrestleMania SmackDown, some other matches are way too big for that though.
So, with that said let’s look at six different bouts that could still end up taking place at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
6. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Kabuki Warriors VS. The Way VS. Maxxine & Ivy Nile VS. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark
This match is a result of three things: The champions do not have a title feud yet, a lot of female stars are not being featured on the card currently, and the Candice LeRae/Maxxine storyline is gaining traction.
With Baszler and Stark still being involved in the title picture, and The Way, Maxxine & Ivy Nile just having started their new storyline, this could be what all of these women need to justify a place on the card.
Also, a WrestleMania without Asuka would be a crime. So give them a nice showcase match where everyone could have some great action and tell their story.
I’ve gone conservative for this pick, but considering there are still many other teams on the roster this could very easily balloon in size.
This is especially true when you consider the size of the men’s Undisputed Tag Team Title match this year, but at the very least let’s get these four teams on the card for Philadelphia.
