Triple H has revealed what impressed him about WWE Money in the Bank on October 10, a show that saw a new champion crowned.
The recent WWE PLE saw Tiffany Stratton win her second Money in the Bank briefcase, with Penta claiming the reward in the men’s ladder match.
Elsewhere on the show, Oba Femi defeated Bronson Reed, Roman Reigns retained the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight, and Liv Morgan became Women’s World Champion.
In post-show comments, Triple H revealed what impressed him about the seventeenth Money in the Bank:
“Young, hungry talent”
Whether it was Tiffany Stratton, Je’Von Evans, Bron Breakker, Oba Femi, Sol Ruca, Roxanne Perez, Lola Vice, Lash Legend, or Jacy Jayne, WWE Money in the Bank was awash with stars aged 30 or under.
Evans, at 22 years of age, was the youngest to compete at WWE Money in the Bank this year, while CM Punk was the oldest at 47.
Speaking in post-show comments, Triple H reflected on the young stars competing at the PLE, saying:
“The youth is what impressed me tonight across the board.
“Young talent. Young, hungry talent, striving, literally climbing that ladder for success and going through anything to get there.”

A Money in the Bank moment made for a young star
Having arrived in an ambulance, Je’Von Evans would also leave in one thanks to Bron Breakker, while the young and bouncy star was at the top of the ladder.
It was surely a memorable moment for the star and something that Triple H would look upon, saying:
“I’ve never seen anything like that in my life.”
There’s no doubt that Evans has a bright future in WWE and surely has a top title reign in his future.
Experience played its part, though.
Roman Reigns (41) retained the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight (43), with Cathy Kelly noted that The OTC had said his opponent “took him to his limits”.
Triple H would reflect upon the dominance of Roman Reigns and how some question that position due to his family lineage, while commenting that Knight had “left this match greater than he went in.”
With Triple H stating that Knight proved he deserved to be in the title conversation as a “top attraction in this business”, it can only be hoped that the Megastar gets his moment to shine.
“The landscape can change at any moment”
With Penta coming off the back of a challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship in Mexico, Triple H would look at the future of the men’s Money in the Bank winner, commenting that he could challenge Roman Reigns or Sami Zayn, the current Undisputed WWE Champion.
Tiffany Stratton also became a two-time women’s Money in the Bank winner, having last won the ladder match in 2024, with the former Women’s Champion now having an opportunity to recapture a top title.
Liv Morgan became a four-time Women’s World Champion with a victory over Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch, while Oba Femi was able to overcome Bron Breakker, setting his sights on Roman Reigns in post-show comments.
Not only could Penta target Reigns, but The OTC has the challenge of Oba Femi and the 946 to contend with, along with anyone else who may want a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
The end (of the year) is nigh
With Crown Jewel and Survivor Series: WarGames in November and Wrestlepalooza in December, 2026 could end with much more of the young talent that Triple H praises in top spots.
