WWE
While The Bloodline and Judgment Day may be dominant, they are far from the only factions currently running in WWE.
With Raw, SmackDown and NXT all running on a weekly basis, it’s sometimes difficult to keep track of who is in which faction and where fans can see them.
Here’s a current list of the factions that fans can currently see on WWE NXT and Evolve:
BirthRight
A faction of multi-generational wrestling talent (mostly), BirthRight recently tried and failed to recruit the son of Umaga, Zilla Fatu.
With NXT as their home, BirthRight are Arianna Grace (daughter of Santino Marella), Charlie Dempsey (son of William Regal), Lexis King (son of the late Brian Pillman), Uriah Connors (son of Fit Finlay) and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo (the fiancé of Grace).
King has recently stated that, as a second-generation wrestler in WWE, “you have to work twice as hard to get to the same level your parents did.”
DarkState
Another faction on WWE NXT, DarkState were formed in early last year, with their name being revealed in March.
Originally consisting of Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars, the latter was expelled from the faction in May of this year.
The Dungeon
Led by main roster veteran Nattie, The Dungeon also sees Layla Diggs and Nikkita Lyons in its ranks.
Born of the drive of the training school that Nattie owns with her husband, TJ Wilson, The Dungeon are an unrelenting force on NXT.
The Vanity Project
If there was ever a name fitting the members as a faction, it’s The Vanity Project, with Jackson Drake as North American Champion and Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes (collectively known as Swipe Right) as NXT Tag Team Champions. Myka Lockwood completes the faction, serving as a sort of enforcer and potentially the brains of the outfit.
Lyons’ Group
Led by Nikkita Lyons, the current WWE Evolve Women’s Champion who also does double duty as a member of The Dungeon on NXT, Giana Capri and Sloane Jacobs are all members of Lyons’ Group.
As if true of many Evolve stars, they are typically signed to WWE ID deals, continuing to compete on the independent wrestling scene. Lyons is not under such an arrangement, being signed as a WWE star.
The MOG Squad
Another fixture in WWE Evolve, The MOG Squad are Jacari Ball, Max Abrams, Santi Rivera and CJ Valor.
Abrams is the current WWE ID Champion, having defeated Chazz Hall at Nightmare Factory Presents ID Showcase on June 26 of this year.
The recent episode of Evolve saw The Mog Squad in a losing effort against WWE ID 1.0, the team of Aaron Rourke, It’s GAL, Marcus Mathers & Sam Holloway in a Team Gauntlet elimination match.
From Evolve To NXT
A pathway exists for stars frequently seen on WWE Evolve to move up to NXT, with Vanity Project being one such grouping to have made that transition.
Drake, Baylor & Smokes all competed on Evolve in 2025, with Drake being the inaugural WWE Evolve Champion, before moving to NXT earlier this year, all being signed to WWE contracts in the process.
