With WWE releasing the upcoming schedule for Roman Reigns, they may have spoiled the main event of WWE Money in the Bank 2026 vs LA Knight.

WWE Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns is set to take on LA Knight for his title at WWE Money in the Bank 2026 with recent rumors swirling that despite the titular bouts on the card, Reigns vs. Knight will be the main event.

LA Knight: New WWE Heavyweight Champion?

With the undeniable popularity of LA Knight, it could be that finally the veteran star’s time has come.

From Eli Drake in TNA Wrestling to Max Dupri and everywhere in between, LA Knight has remained a compelling performer and fan favorite.

Possibly able to defeat Roman Reigns in the setting of some gross interference, the win by Knight could end up leading to a new feeling of opportunity on the WWE Raw roster.

With Roman Reigns being positioned at the unstoppable force in all of his feuds however it could be time for a pivot.

With Solo Sikoa having been aligned with LA Knight but then flip-flopped back to reunite with the Bloodline after being abducted by 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima & Lucien Price), there could be a detail as yet to be revealed.

If Solo were to be the “reason” why Roman Reigns loses the WWE Heavyweight Championship in the main event match against LA Knight, there could be an explanation for the increased number of appearances from Reigns.

Perhaps more interestingly, if it were to be 946 that cost Reigns his title and hand LA Knight the victory, there would be an even deeper level of split loyalty for the recent fan favorite, Solo Sikoa.

Increases the stakes of WarGames

At this point, the Bloodline faction are already looking for vengeance against 946 for not only Solo Sikoa but later, the attack on Jacob Fatu.

However, if the group were to cost Roman Reigns the WWE Heavyweight Championship, it could lead to a much more interesting fight moving forward.

Adding a hunt to reclaim the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to that already emotionally charged rivalry for revenge could make WarGames that much more interesting.

Reigns is advertised to appear on a WWE Raw following Money in the Bank (October 19) then will return in early November for a double taping of WWE Raw and SmackDown then on to Crown Jewel which is still set for 11/17 in Riyadh .

Potentially leaving room for a refreshed intensity from Roman Reigns if he’s chasing getting back the WWE Heavyweight Championship, the Money in the Bank briefcase looms.

Certainly an exciting time in WWE, having a surprise shake-up either by loss or by cash-in on Reigns could kick off some brand new rivalries soon.
