Spoilers, WWE Royal Rumble 2024 Results WWE

The time is almost here for the 37th annual Royal Rumble event, with this year representing potentially the most anticipated of its kind in years.

Not only do we have a rare instance of both Rumbles being extremely hard to call but just the sheer star power potentially on offer is also a tantalising prospect.

The men’s and women’s Rumble matches are obviously the main course that we all tune in for, however, as is tradition the event does also have a few additional matches to offer up also.

This year’s card is truly a slim offering, with only four matches announced, while WWE may choose to add another match, it seems very unlikely at this point.

Betting odds are courtesy of SkyBet and are correct as of 9am EST. So without a further ado lets jump in to what I believe will open the show in St Petersburg, Florida.

4. Women’s Royal Rumble Match

Unlike 2023 which had a clear favorite in Rhea Ripley, this year’s women’s Rumble really feels like it could finish up in two or three different ways.

For the longest time I assumed that this match would see the debut of Jade Cargill, with a history-making Rumble win her debut WWE match immediately establishing her as a mega star.

However, that seems to not be anywhere near as likely as it once seemed with Cargill not featuring at all on TV since late October.

While this could be a red herring for a surprise appearance and win, instead I feel this one will be won by a member of the four horsewomen of WWE.

Charlotte Flair is obviously out for a long while with injury, Sasha Banks could potentially make a shock return and win it all, however, reports seem to still suggest she’s AEW bound; leaving a toss-up between Becky Lynch and Bayley.

Bayley’s current story-arc of being the ugly duckling of Damage CTRL represents a perfect chance for a feel-good babyface turn; with the Role Model winning the Rumble and challenging IYO SKY instead of Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania.

As for Lynch, a major clash with Ripley seems inevitable with WWE keeping them apart for almost an entire year. So, I would expect them to face at WrestleMania whether Lynch wins the Rumble or not.

Ultimately, I feel the storyline potential for a Bayley win is more appealing than Lynch winning. And besides The Man has already won a Rumble, give Bayley her flowers WWE.

Prediction: Bayley

Betting Favorite: Bayley (Bayley 1/2, Becky Lynch 4/1, Jade Cargill 13/2, Sasha Banks 10/1)
