Following the WWE Clash In Italy 2026 premium live event, it was revealed that Finn Balor was being moved from Monday Night Raw to Friday Night SmackDown.
Now that he is on the blue brand, Balor is looking to find his footing and has ran into some old allies as well as enemies.
With all his history with different names on the roster, it would be interesting to see Balor create a new stable that could feature some stars on the brand.
Here are six WWE stars to potentially join a new Finn Balor SmackDown faction.
6. Sami Zayn

During his time on WWE NXT, Finn Balor became close friends with several names on the current roster, such as new Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn.
Over the past few months, Zayn has showcased frustrations towards his failures to win a world title.
However, Zayn has finally won the big one by defeating Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions 2026.
Now that he is the current champion, Zayn could align himself with Balor in a new faction that will allow both men to sit atop of SmackDown moving forward.
5. Tama & Talla Tonga

There have been a ton of issues with The MFTs in recent weeks thanks to Solo Sikoa’s dealings with The Bloodline.
This led to Sikoa accidentally costing Tama and Talla Tonga their WWE Tag Team Championship match against R-Truth and Damian Priest on the June 19 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
Thanks to this loss, Tama and Talla decided to abandon Sikoa and officially split from The MFTs.
Considering their history together in New Japan Pro Wrestling, it would make a ton of sense for Tama and Talla Tonga to align themselves with their former Bullet Club leader Finn Balor now that they are not with The MFTs.
4. Shinsuke Nakamura

When looking at the Friday Night SmackDown roster, Finn Balor probably knows Shinsuke Nakamura better than anyone.
Spending several years together in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Balor and Nakamura formed a tight bond and friendship that has been seen in backstage photos.
Over the past few months, ‘The King of Strong Style’ has not been regularly featured on WWE television.
Nakamura returning to align with Balor would be interesting and give this new potential faction a spotlight immediately.
3. R-Truth

R-Truth is by far one of the friendliest members of the WWE roster who is often seen making friends backstage.
When Finn Balor returned to SmackDown, Truth was front and center to welcome back his former Judgment Day stablemate.
Despite Damian Priest not trusting Balor, Truth feels like Finn deserves another chance and wants to rekindle their friendship.
Truth joining forces with Balor could create an intriguing scenario where Priest has a choice to make.
2. Damian Priest

Finn Balor and Damian Priest became friends by joining forces within The Judgment Day stable.
However, Balor’s jealousy towards Priest winning the World Heavyweight Championship led to him and The Judgment Day betraying their stablemate at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
From there, Priest feuded with The Judgment Day for months and battled Balor on several different occasions.
Looking to put their past behind them, Priest could forgive Balor and join him in this new faction that might gain the same success as The Judgment Day did with both men part of it.
1. Rhea Ripley

Another former Judgment Day member that Finn Balor has plenty of history with is Rhea Ripley.
Since moving to SmackDown, Ripley has sat at the top of the women’s division as the reigning WWE Women’s Champion.
Wanting one of the top stars on the blue brand by his side, Balor would be wise to recruit ‘Mami’ to his side and make amends for their past in The Judgment Day.
Ripley reuniting with Balor would be a memorable moment that could see this faction becoming a force on SmackDown for the foreseeable future.
