WWE
There has been no shortage of big returns lately in WWE, and NXT has been no exception.
Grayson Waller and The Creed Brothers are back where they began their WWE journey, but they may soon be joined by more returning faces.
Whether it be a main roster star moving back to NXT, or injured former champions making their big comeback, here are three WWE stars potentially returning to NXT soon.
Ivy Nile
With her stablemates Julius and Brutus Creed swapping Raw for NXT, fans will be questioning whether Ivy Nile will also be following suit and returning to Tuesday nights.
Nile has been most often seen on WWE Main Event in 2026, however, a recent report from Fightful revealed that some changes could be coming for the 34-year-old.
It’s unclear whether Nile is in line for a reboot of sorts on main roster or back down in NXT, but it may be the latter that serves her best.
With The Creeds targeting NXT Tag Title gold, Nile can aim to dethrone Zaria or Kelani Jordan and claim her own first-ever championship in WWE.
Kendal Grey
Speaking of champions, Kendal Grey is less than two weeks removed from losing her NXT Women’s Championship to Kelani Jordan at NXT Heatwave.
On the surface, the title change was quite a surprise given that Grey was just two months into her first run as champion, but less surprising when considering her injury status.
According to WWE, Grey suffered an ear injury during her NXT Underground match with Lola Vice on August 4, which then played into her loss to Jordan at Heatwave, when Grey suffered a bout of vertigo after being driven into a ring post.
Grey has been ruled out for the forseeable future due to her injury and Jordan’s next challenge appears to be coming from Jaida Parker next, however, Grey will likely be back to reclaim her title before too long.
Elio LeFleur
Back in March, Elio LeFleur suffered a shoulder injury during an NXT live event which forced him to vacate his Men’s Speed Championship.
LeFleur was ruled out for six months as a result of the injury – a timeframe that we are now almost at the end of.
While the Speed Championship is no longer around, LeFleur could stake his claim for NXT North American Champion Jackson Drake’s gold to make up for it, as Drake will be needing new babyface challengers in the coming months.
Having only had a chance to showcase his skills for a few months on NXT TV before suffering his injury, LeFleur will almost feel like an entirely new signing for the brand when he makes his comeback.
