Since this loss, Lee has been absent from WWE television. However, the former Divas Champion recently revealed that she is staying ready for a potential return down the line.

Considering she just returned last year, Lee has a full women’s roster that she has never stepped in the ring with.

Here are seven potential AJ Lee WWE return opponents.

7. Raquel Rodriguez

At WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, AJ Lee defeated Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title.

This reign was short-lived with Lynch winning back the championship at WrestleMania 42.

Now months later, Raquel Rodriguez currently holds the Women’s IC Title.

Making her return to the company, Lee could step right back into WWE to attempt to become a two-time Women’s IC Champion.

6. Chelsea Green

At WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night Two, Chelsea Green defeated Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton in a Ladder Match to become the Interim WWE Women’s Champion.

This marked the biggest win of Green’s career and finally seen her elevated to the main title picture.

Since his return in July, AJ Lee’s husband CM Punk has moved from Monday Night Raw to Friday Night SmackDown.
