16-Year-Old Sporting Sensation Luke Littler Responds To Invitation From WWE PDC/WWE

Teenage sporting sensation Luke Littler has responded to an offer from WWE to attend an upcoming show after his whirlwind few weeks.

Littler, 16, made major headlines as he became the youngest ever finalist in the history of the PDC World Darts Championship, which took place from December 15 to January 3.

The feat garnered huge attention to the point the World Championship final between Littler and world rank #1 Luke Humphries was the most watched sporting event in Sky Sports history outside of football/soccer.

Humphries emerged a 7-4 winner, but the majority of media headlines did go to Littler for reaching the final at only 16 years of age.

That attention has now even extended to WWE after Littler mentioned in an interview with BBC Radio 1 that his choice of walk-on music, Greenlight by Pitbull, was inspired by it being the theme for WrestleMania 33, which Littler attended when he was 10 years old.

After Littler made that comment, the official WWE UK page on Twitter reached out to him with the following message:

Unbelievable run, @LuketheNuke180… We heard #WrestleMania 33 inspired your entrance music on @BBCR1, so you’re officially invited to @TheO2 on April 19 when WWE rolls through London. We might even hit @Pitbull’s “Greenlight” for you!

Littler has now responded with a video of him in the crowd for Mania 33, a separate video of him in his bedroom doing John Cena’s entrance as a young child, and a message accepting the offer to attend the April show:

Throw back to #Wrestlemania33 @pitbull @JohnCena sounds good to me 😜 see u April 19 @TheO2
#Greenlight 💚☢

The April 19 event at the O2 Arena in London will be a Raw-branded house show on a Friday, not a televised show.

Littler, who turns 17 on January 21, has a very busy schedule coming up, including another major feat for his age as he was picked for this year’s PDC Premier League, which takes place weekly every Thursday from February 1 to May 23.

This will include an event on Thursday, April 18 in Rotterdam, Netherlands – the day before Littler will now be attending the WWE show in London.

The WWE stars listed on the O2 Arena website for the show are Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Gunther and New Day.
