Report: AEW Backstage Morale ‘Very High’ Ahead Of Grand Slam Shows

Ahead of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam next week in New York, morale within the locker room is reportedly ‘very high’, as per PWInsider.

The report noted that everyone wants to feature on the the September 22 show in some capacity, realising the event will be a huge milestone for the promotion.

AEW is reportedly also aware that the event will outdraw WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden by 4-5,000 fans.

Many huge matches have been confirmed for the event, including Bryan Danielson’s in-ring debut for AEW against Kenny Omega. AEW Women’s Championship match between Britt Baker and Ruby Soho will also take place on the Dynamite Grand Slam show.

Cody Rhodes is set to return to the ring for a rematch with Malakai Black on Wednesday’s episode. A CM Punk interview segment has been announced for the Dynamite show, before he takes on Powerhouse Hobbs on Friday’s Rampage Grand Slam.
