La Faccion Ingobernables member Jose The Assistant has broken his silence following his AEW departure, referencing another star.
As was previously reported, several AEW stars were released on April 1. Among them was Jose The Assistant, who was aligned with La Faccion Ingobernables ahead of his exit.
Jose has now taken to Twitter to briefly address his departure. The manager shared a video of current WWE star Cody Rhodes on AEW TV, with Rhodes asking “what do you guys want to talk about?”
He captioned his post with a single hourglass emoji.

Jose first started with AEW in 2021. With Rush off TV after suffering a hamstring injury in late 2023, La Faccion Ingobernable hasn’t been featured on TV much in recent months.
The now-former AEW star recently teased his return to the ring, sharing an intriguing post which you can view right here.
Jose has wrestled in the past, most recently in 2018, but didn’t ever wrestle a match in AEW.
Other stars reportedly released by AEW on April 1 included Parker Boudreaux, Slim J and Anthony Henry.
