AEW Star Names Wrestler Who ‘Doesn’t Get Enough Credit’ Creatively AEW

An AEW star has revealed the name of a fellow roster member they feel “doesn’t get enough credit” where creativity is concerned.

Following an injury that saw him unable to compete since March 2021, Kip Sabian’s presence on AEW television saw him adopt his “underrated” gimmick complete with a box on his head and frequently seen in the crowds on AEW shows.

He made his official return in August 2022, attacking PAC and going on to ally himself with The Butcher and The Blade, with The Butcher recently discussing the addition of the man to the team.

Speaking on Josh Nason’s Punch-Out, The Butcher spoke about Sabian’s knowledge of wrestling and creativity, stating:

“He doesn’t get enough credit for how knowledgeable he is about pro wrestling.

“If you come up with an idea, he always has something to add to it instead of having you just take the wheel.

“If I come up with an idea, I can hand it to him and I can trust that he’s going to add something great to it. He’s so knowledgable.”

The Butcher would go on to discuss how Sabian’s influence isn’t just limited to his own part of the group, with Sabian making suggestions for the Butcher and Blade tag team.

As for the name of the faction, Sabian may have influenced a name for that, too, with Butcher saying:

“People started calling us The Gallery online, I think he like hashtagged that a couple of times

“Right now we are playing with the name the Deadly Alliance just because it seems kind of like an old Marvel or DC, the League of Extraordinary Gentleman or something like that.”

Sabian signed with AEW in February 2019 and faced Sammy Guevara in the company’s first singles match at Double or Nothing in May of that year.

He would be allied with Miro and has recently discussed his time with the former AEW TNT Champion.
