On April 15, he filed to trademark: “The Guy Who Gets His Ass Beat By The Demand Every Week That He Shows Up.”

The filing was made with the following description:

Chris Jericho, who is now simply being referred to as ‘Jericho,’ lost his AEW return match at the Dynasty pay-per-view this past weekend against the leader of The Demand, Ricochet.

Then, on last night’s AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru episode, Jericho was beaten down by Ricochet and his teammates Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun.

Should Chris Jericho Have Returned To WWE?

Chris Jericho has evidently decided to stay with AEW as opposed to making a return to WWE, but was that the right decision?

Ultimately, it decides what Jericho wants to do with his career right now. If he wanted a retirement run on a grand stage and maybe a Hall of Fame induction next year, WWE might have been the move.

However, if he doesn’t think he’s ready to end his career quite yet, and he just wants to have some fun – such as trademarking thiungs like “The Guy Who Gets His Ass Beat By The Demand Every Week That He Shows Up” and deciding to call himself just Jericho – then AEW is the place for that.
