AEW’s Dax Harwood, one-half of FTR, has shared a powerful health message following his recent colonoscopy.
A colonoscopy involves inserting a camera into the anus in order to examine both the large bowel and the distal area of the small bowel.
It is performed with anaesthesia and is a procedure used to detect colon cancer and colon polyps among other conditions.
Dax Harwood recently underwent the procedure after a visit to his gastroenterologist and shared a message to all men on Twitter, writing:
“Few months ago, I had a check up w/my gastroenterologist. They were worried about a few things.
“A little more invasive colonoscopy showed that I was free & clear of any polyps or cancerous growths.
“The reason for this is, guys, as embarrassing as it may be, get checked. Laugh away.”
The “laugh away” comment was added as the tweet was accompanied by two videos of Harwood having a less-than-sensical conversation under the influence of the anaesthetic, as can be seen below.
