AEW
Dustin Rhodes has reflected on a recent appearance at a non-AEW event, alongside his large-breed dog, Beast.
The AEW star, who is currently out of action through injury, took Beast to Crufts, the international dog show which took place in Birmingham, England.
While the Mastiff may not have won in his category, Rhodes was proud of Beast’s performance and thanked the organizers of Crufts in a post on Twitter that read:
“Great showing at@crufts!!
“We had a blast and thank you for your hospitality!!
“So proud of #TeamBeast….They showed their hearts out!”
Beast is a Mastiff, weighing in at around 250lbs (114kg), and finished third in the working group open category on Thursday.
Rhodes previously shared a recovery update from his double knee replacement surgery operation, stating he will be back in action when he is ready.
Having stated a March 2026 return in a past comment, a confirmed date for Dustin Rhodes in AEW is yet to be revealed.
At the time of his injury, Rhodes held the ROH World Tag Team Championship and the World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
The Sons of Texas would be forced to vacate the ROH World Tag Team Championship, with Sammy Guevara continuing as a champion alongside Rush and then The Beast Mortos
