The July 31 Chicago Street Fight saw Rhodes unsuccessful in his bid for the title, with Fletcher driving a screwdriver into the veteran’s knee.

Rhodes has now confirmed that he did, indeed, undergo surgery and shared two videos on Twitter of his wrapped legs and a message that reads:

“LFG🔥🔥🔥🔥 Holy s**t!!!”

In the short videos, the AEW star can be heard exhaling as he attempts to lift his leg off the hospital bed.

Among the responses in the video was one from WWE’s R-Truth, who replied:

“You got Gold Dizzle!! My Nizzle!!🙌🏾💪🏾🙏🏾”

Rhodes would react to this message, stating that he missed Killings, tweeting:

“My brother, I love and miss you man. #GoldenTruth forever”

This would see the WWE star respond with his own message of love, posting:

“I love and miss you too my dawg, keep it steppin!🙌🏾💪🏾🙏🏾”

Having promised an “ugly pre op photo” on Twitter ahead of his surgery, Rhodes delivered with a post in his hospital bed.

The post would show Rhodes in hospital garb and was take after the operation and can be seen here.
