Both AEW Dynamite and NXT saw massive increases in their ratings this week. Hopefully, this is the start of a trend for both programs as they managed to both pull off very good shows.
Bryan Alvarez reported the numbers on Twitter. All Elite Wrestling drew an average of 827,000 viewers while NXT drew 731,000 average viewers.

NXT: 731,000— Bryan Alvarez (@bryanalvarez) May 28, 2020
This week’s Dynamite show garnered 126,000 more viewers than last week. Last week had drawn 701,000 for the Double or Nothing go-home show while this was for the first episode since the pay per view. This week featured the long-awaited AEW debuts of FTR (FKA The Revival in WWE). The show also featured the Dynamite debut of Brian Cage and Mike Tyson. Tyson was in the main event segment with Chris Jericho.
Meanwhile, NXT gained a whopping 139,000 viewers from last week. Their show was focused on the Cage Fight between Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher with Kurt Angle as the referee. The whole show was highly regarded but this match has drawn great reviews in particular.
NXT is drawing closer to their NXT Takeover: In Your House event on June 7, while AEW has started building towards Fyter Fest, which currently has no scheduled date.
