The viewership numbers for this past Saturday’s October 23 AEW Dynamite and SmackDown ‘Encore’ have been revealed.
WWE aired a replay on FOX of the previous night’s SmackDown directly head-to-head opposite Dynamite which was on TNT.
As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Dynamite drew 575,000 viewers, which is quite a way down from the prior Saturday’s 727,000.
In the 18-49 demographic, the show scored a rating of 0.22, down from the prior week’s 0.28.
The SmackDown ‘Encore’ drew 632,000 viewers, with a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
AEW Dynamite was advertised to feature Bryan Danielson vs Dustin Rhodes, Eddie Kingston vs Lance Archer, and the third stanza of Cody Rhodes vs Malakai Black.
The SmackDown ‘Encore’ was just a repeat of the previous night’s show that saw the continuation of the Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar saga after Crown Jewel, and the controversy-causing ‘title exchange’ with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
