New AEW Dynamite Matches Announced Head-To-Head With WWE NXT AEW/WWE

New matches for next week’s special Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite were announced tonight on the show, including a new title match.

Title Tuesday on October 10 is a rare occurrence of AEW Dynamite on a Tuesday and running against WWE NXT – despite TBS listing it as 4pm ET, it will in fact be 8pm ET, the same time as NXT on USA Network.

Previously announced for next week’s show, the debut match of Adam Copeland in AEW against Luchasaurus.

There was also an AEW Women’s World Championship match already announced with Saraya defending against Hikaru Shida.

Now, newly for the upcoming show, Swerve Strickland will take on Bryan Danielson to determine who is the number one contender to Christian Cage’s TNT Championship.

Also, Rey Fenix will put his International Championship on the line in a rematch against Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho will face Powerhouse Hobbs, and Jay White is set for a match against Hangman Page.

WWE has of course stacked next week’s NXT which will feature appearances from John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Paul Heyman, Asuka and more.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the show opened with Adam Copeland reuniting with some familiar faces while meeting Kenny Omega on screen for the first time.
