AEW Dynasty takes place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, and a quarter-final match for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament has been added.
The brackets for the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament were announced this week, with the winners going on to the finals to be held at AEW All In on July 12.
Quarter-finals matches for the men’s tournament are set to start at AEW Dynasty, with Tony confirming one of the matches on Twitter.
Tweeting that Kyle Fletcher vs Mark Briscoe will take place at the upcoming AEW pay-per-view, Khan wrote:
“This Sunday, 4/6
“Philadelphia
“#AEWDynasty
“Owen Hart Cup Quarterfinal
“In the Owen Hart Foundation Quarterfinal, Kyle Fletcher will fight vs Mark Briscoe, who holds the 2-1 advantage over The Protostar in their rivalry!
“Dynasty THIS SUNDAY!”
Fletcher has previously been called “the future of pro-wrestling” by AEW producer Sonjay Dutt.
This wasn’t the only match confirmed by Khan for AEW Dynasty, with the title vs. mask match between Chris Jericho and Bandido also getting the green light.
Jericho will put his ROH World Championship on the line, with a victory seeing him retain the title and take Bandido’s mask.
