Fun Easter Egg Rediscovered In AEW Fight Forever Video Game

An easter egg has been rediscovered in the AEW Fight Forever video game celebrating Jeff Hardy’s birthday on August 31, 2023.

The game wishing you a happy birthday has been seen before but it’s one worth revisiting for those who may not know.

Even the create-a-wrestler feature offers the “happy birthday” message in the wrestler’s intro screen.

As can be seen from the graphic below that was shared (and removed) from Reddit, JJSmith1987 was playing the game as Jeff Hardy on August 31.

On August 31, Hardy turned 46 years of age and got a “happy birthday” message in the Yuke’s developed game.

It doesn’t add anything to the functionality of the game, but it is certainly a nice touch.

AEW Fight Forever was released on June 29 for Playstation 4/5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows.

On August 1, 2023, the developers issued a “thank you” post on social media to celebrate its first month after launch.

The Stadium Stampede online battle royale mode was recently released for the game.
