AEW President Tony Khan has officially announced the release date for a brand new game mode for the AEW Fight Forever console game.
Making the announcement in a video posted to AEW’s Twitter account, Khan stood in the stands at the Jacksonville Jaguars’ TIAA Bank Field, the site of the very first Stadium Stampede match at AEW Double or Nothing 2020.
Fittingly it was there where Khan announced that the Stadium Stampede online ‘battle royale’ mode would be launching on all systems on August 24, within the next 24 hours.
You can check out the full release date announcement video below.
To give further details, Khan was then joined by Kenny Omega, who Khan noted scored the pin in the aforementioned Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing 2020.
Also making an appearance was Eddie Kingston who is set to compete in the very first international edition of the match at All In Wembley Stadium on August 27.
For more details on the new mode itself check out this link here from early July when the mode was officially unveiled for the first time.
In some unfortunate news for Eddie Kingston, a planned member of his team for the Stadium Stampede match at All In appears to have suffered an injury that will prevent their appearance in London, click here for full details.
