Former AEW Star ‘Knows’ A Current Roster Member Will Sign With WWE

aA former AEW star has claimed to ‘know’ that a current star in the company will sign with WWE in the future.

In early March it was confirmed that one of AEW’s earliest roster members Mike Santana had departed the company.

Now, in a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, Santana discussed his exit as well as other topics, including another notable AEW original that also departed the company back in 2022: former EVP Cody Rhodes.

When asked by Van Vliet regarding his Cody’s departure, Santana said he always “knew it was coming”, before suggesting there was another current star in AEW who would also do the same and return to WWE.

Santana said:

“I’ll be real there was two people that I said off the bat were gonna go back to WWE. One of them already did.”

Chris Van Vliet: “And you’re saying there’s another one that may go back?

Santana: “Aw, yeah.”

There was no further indication as to which AEW star Santana was referring to with this statement, with the 33-year-old admitting he’d take enjoyment in seeing people speculate afterwards.
