The date for the third AEW Grand Slam has been confirmed and it’s once again taking place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.
Following the recent report that the show would be taking place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City with sources stating AEW have a date booked in late September for Grand Slam 3, AEW have themselves confirmed the show date.
The first AEW Grand Slam took place in 2021 and was recorded on September 22, with the second taking place on September 21 2022.
The 2023 edition of the AEW Dynamite television special will follow in this tradition, taking place on September 20.
AEW have also confirmed that tickets for the event will go on sale Saturday, July 22 and 10am ET.
Tony Khan has previously stated that AEW Dynamite Grand Slam would be an annual tradition, during an appearance on Sirius XM’s Hit 1 Celebrity Interviews in May 2022.
The Grand Slam episodes of AEW Dynamite have featured surprises in the past, including the rapper Action Bronson teaming up with HOOK in 2022.
