AEW has released a hilarious piece of new merchandise inspired by a recent match at All Out 2023.
Among the plethora of highly praised matches at AEW’s most recent pay-per-view on September 3 was the super heavyweight contest between Powerhouse Hobbs and Miro.
Not only due to the in-ring action but also the live Chicago crowd from the United Center who got in on the fun with chants of ‘MEAT’ upon the landing of almost every single blow either men dealt out, as well as ‘Meat Forever’, ‘Let’s Go Meat’, and more.
This was played up excellently by both Hobbs and Miro throughout and may be destined to be a recurring chant for contests featuring stars of the large, muscular variety.
Realising they may have something with the chant, AEW has now released a brand new official t-shirt in commemoration of the ‘two big meaty men slapping meat.’
Priced at $29.99, the shirt simply reads ‘MEAT’ with the official title being ‘Hobbs vs Miro – Battle of the Meats 2023.’
The meat phenomena stems from WWE star Big E, who in a January 2020 episode of The New Day’s Feel The Power podcast spoke of his love for matches featuring “two big men, with big chests and big muscles slapping meat.”
