Top AEW Star Admits Blurred Lines In Recent Storyline AEW

A top AEW star has admitted that blurred lines contributed to the dramatic effect of a recent on-screen storyline.

On the December 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, The Acclaimed dropped a new diss track, targeting, among other things, Jeff Jarrett’s financial history and his wife.

The response to the rap saw Jarrett incandescent with anger, addressing the situation on his own podcast in no uncertain terms on his own podcast and promising ‘multiple receipts’.

Now, Jarrett has addressed the AEW story once again, this time on The Wrestling Perspective Podcast, saying:

“Personal issues draw money, and when you have personal issues it has got to be reality-based.

“To this day there are folks that are not really sure when all lines were blurred a couple of weeks ago.

“But that is to me, if you’re telling a story, if it’s 100% fiction, your audience knows it, to me it truly is that simple, so you have to blur the lines.”

The December 28 rap wasn’t the only time that The Acclaimed’s Max Caster would have select words to say about Jeff Jarrett.

In January 2023, he would go again, referencing Vince McMahon and the events of January 6 United States Capitol attack.

Aside from an onscreen role, Jarrett is also AEW’s Director of Business Development and is in the process of working on a live events calendar for the company with plans to expand into new markets.
