Anyone who watched the AEW “Double or Nothing” rally will know that Cody and the Young Bucks don’t mess around when they promise surprises.
Not only did they unveil the signing of stars like PAC, SoCal Uncensored and Joey Janela, but Chris Jericho also made a shock appearance to announce that he had also signed with the company.
AEW are holding a ticket announcement party at the MGM in Las Vegas on February 7, and it is understood that they will be unveiling some more of their latest signings.
According to Dave Meltzer, Cody and the Bucks want as many of their stars present at the party, which will include a number of names who did not appear at their first rally, or who have not yet been announced as signings.
Two names expected to be there are Bea Preistley, who is yet to officially sign, and CIMA from the OWE promotion based in China. Sammy Guevara and Kylie Rae are also expected to be confirmed.
Probably the biggest name that will likely be at the party is Kenny Omega, whose contract with New Japan expires today. Meltzer believes there is a strong possibility that Kenny will be unveiled as the star attraction, much like Chris Jericho was at the “Double or Nothing” rally.
