AEW Referee To Wrestle In Upcoming Match

During Wednesday’s (June 7) AEW Rampage taping, it was announced that a current referee will be in action in an upcoming match.

Following numerous teases, this AEW name will be making their wrestling debut, after officiating numerous matches for the promotion.

During the AEW Rampage taping, Jeff Jarrett and his group called out Aubrey Edwards.

Mark Briscoe ultimately answered Jarrett’s call, to announce a mixed trios tag match.

In this announced match, Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett and Jay Lethal will face off against Mark Briscoe, Papa Briscoe and Aubrey Edwards.

This comes after recent teases that Edwards will swap her stripes for wrestling boots, with Edwards and Jarrett getting physical on the June 2 edition of Rampage.

It is currently unclear when this six-person bout will take place.
